What is Khojdeal cashback?

We at Khojdeal give you an opportunity to acquire extra cashback on your online purchases. Even if the store already has an existing deal, you can shop through Khojdeal to get an even better deal over and above the already existing deal.

As soon as you make a transaction through Khojdeal, a pending cashback will show up on your Khojdeal dashboard and once we receive the confirmation of the purchase from the vendor, your pending cashback is made accessible for you to utilize. 

What are Khojdeal rewards?

Some online stores like Amazon & Flipkartl don’t allow cashbacks earned from them to be transferred to bank accounts. It can either be transferred to online digital wallets like PayTM or be used to recharge mobile phones and DTH connections.

To make this distinction clear and easier to understand, the cashback earned from these online stores is referred to as Khojdeal Rewards.

The procedure for earning rewards is the same as cashback, the only difference being that unlike cashbacks, rewards cannot be withdrawn to a bank account. Because of this reason, the balance eligible to be withdrawn to the ban account, maybe less than the actual available balance.

Note: Stores offering Rewards instead of Cashback will clearly mention so on the respective store pages. Most stores do not carry rewards.

How to earn Khojdeal cashback & rewards?

  1. Log on to Khojdeal.com
  2. Search for the store or category you want to shop from
  3. Get the latest deals from that particular store and click 'Activate Deal' or 'Show Code' to avail the offer
  4. Shop and pay on the online store like you normally do
  5. Once the transaction is complete, the retailer will pay us a commission for the sale. We pass that to you in the form of 'KhojdealCashback'. Initially your cashback remains in 'Pending' status. Once we get the confirmation from the store about your sale and the return period for your product is over, the store pays us in the next monthly payment cycle. Your cashback then becomes 'Approved'
  6. When you have earned a minimum of Rs. 500 as confirmed cashback, we can transfer the money to your Indian bank account via NEFT (for free). You can also ask for the money to be transferred to your digital wallet (PayTm, Mobikwik, Freecharge, etc.). The cashback amount can also be used to recharge your mobile phones or DTH accounts.

Cashback

What is the difference between Pending and Available Earnings?

Pending earnings contains sums that you have earned, but haven’t been approved yet. It includes the cashback amounts from purchases made through Khojdeal and also any potential reward sum that you may have earned from Khojdeal.

Available balance is the sum that is accessible to you and can be used by you as you wish. It can either be transferred to your digital wallet or bank account or be used to recharge your mobile phones.

How does my pending earnings become available cashback?

Pending earnings that are earned with your purchases would require approximately 4 to 8 weeks to become obtainable for you to transfer it into your bank account. This is because of the cancellation policy of the stores that we are in collaboration with. So, if a user cancels a purchase or requests for an exchange, the pending balance cannot proceed to become available balance. 

Why does it take Khojdeal so long to confirm a cashback?

It takes us time to confirm your cashback as we have to wait for the merchant store to validate your purchase with us and confirm that there has been no exchange or return of goods bought.

For transactions like recharges and online food orders there’s rarely a cancellation or return involved. Why do I still have to wait for 4-8 weeks to earn cashback?

We understand that the return and cancellation time for transactions like food and recharges is very short and in some cases, none.

However, stores like Dominos and Pizza Hut do not confirm the transactions immediately. We get the confirmation from them at the end of the following month, which is why there is a long waiting period even for instantaneous transactions.

We apologize for the inconvenience, and assure you that we are working closely with such stores to expedite the confirmation process and thereby reduce the waiting time.

Paytm gives instant cashback, so why can’t Khojdeal do the same?

The cashback given by PayTM is different from the cashback given by Khojdeal.

Transactions that happen on PayTM directly, are validated as soon as the payment is confirmed and, therefore, they can instantly credit the cashback to your wallet.

However, we at Khojdeal have to wait for stores like PayTM to validate the transaction and then credit the cashback your wallet. This process takes time, which is why there is a delay in the cashback from Khojdeal becoming ‘Available Balance’.

There was an issue with the tracking of my cashback. What do I do?

It might take up to 48 hours for Khojdeal cashback to be tracked. However, if your transaction has not been tracked even after 48 hours, please file a Missing Cashback Claim for it. 

Why does my available cashback amount differ from my pending cashback?

Tracked pending cashback amounts are only an estimate and can change upon final validation from the store. Factors like the user type (new or old), platform used (App or website) and product category for the item you have purchased, all affect the cashback amount.

However, during tracking this information is not shared with Khojdeal by the merchants. Therefore, we cannot always accurately estimate your cashback amount.

Why is my cashback cancelled or declined?

Cashbacks are usually cancelled or declined because of the following reasons:

  1. You cancelled your order.
  2. The order was returned or exchanged.
  3. You made changes to your order.
  4. The order was paid by cash on delivery.
  5. You used a gift voucher to pay for your order.
  6. The order did not meet the store’s cashback policy. 

How to ensure my cashback?

To ensure you receive a cashback on your purchase, make sure you are logged into your Khojdeal account. Also make sure that the store you are purchasing from offers cashback deals. 

What happens if I don’t get a cashback confirmation from Khojdeal?

We recommend that you wait for at least 48 hours after the transaction is made. In case, the transaction has not been tracked automatically even after 48 hours, we recommend that you file a missing cashback claim.

What is the procedure to file a missing cashback claim?

To file a missing cashback claim, just follow the below mentioned procedure:

  1. Login to your Khojdeal account.
  2. Go to your dashboard and click on ‘Report Missing Cashback’.
  3. Click on ‘Add Missing Cashback Ticket’.
  4. Please fill in the required details and click on submit.

How long does it take to respond to a missing cashback claim?

We usually respond to a missing cashback claim within 48 hours.

Why is the tracked pending cashback only an estimate?

Are there cases where there is no cashback?

Yes, there are stores on which the cashbacks aren’t applicable. They will not have the additional cashback tag and you will also see the no cashback tag in the cashback column.

What happens once my cashback is cancelled?

In case your cashback is cancelled by the retailer; the amount will be removed from the pending status and the status will be changed to cancelled.

Please note, the stores hold the right to make changes regarding the cashbacks and once the decision has been taken by the stores, there is no way to overturn it.

I do not have a proof of purchase; how do I file a claim?

When a missing cashback claim is filed, we follow up with the merchant regarding the status of the sale. We are unable to do so in cases where we do not have a proof of purchase. Therefore, we do not accept missing cashback claims in case there is no proof of purchase.

Withdrawals

Does the money in my account expire?

No, the money in your account doesn’t expire. You are free to use it at any point in time.

Does it cost to withdraw money from my balance?

No, it does not charge anything to withdraw the balance from your account.

How do I withdraw my balance?

  1. Log into your Khojdeal account and then go to Withdrawal section.
  2. Select on the method of withdrawal. It can be either banking, e-wallet, recharge or gift cards.
  3. Select the amount you wish to redeem and click submit. 

For bank transfers, it may take up to a week to process and reflect in your account. E-wallet and recharge will take place instantly, but in some cases, it may take up to 48 hours to reflect in your account. 

What are the minimum withdrawal limits?

The minimum withdrawal limit is Rs.500.

Which stores do not allow me to transfer the cashback to a bank account?

Currently, only Amazon and Flipkart do not allow transfer of cashback into bank accounts. 

Is it possible to transfer my balance to other Khojdeal accounts?

No, we are sorry to inform you that it is not possible to transfer your balance from one Khojdeal account to another.

What is the referral program at Khojdeal?

Every month Khojdeal runs a referral program which gives you a chance to win an amazing price like an iPad, iPhone, Samsung Note7, Playstaions & more. 

All you need to do is to refer your friends using the simple steps provided on the Refer & Earn page and get maximum number of friends join Khojdeal. You will also get a referral bonus of Rs. 50 each when your friends withdraw their cashback for the first time and a percentage of their cashback earnings always. 

How much is my referral bonus?

There is a one time referral bonus of Rs.50 for each friend you refer. Along with this, you get a percentage of their cashback earnings. 

How do I get referral bonus?

The referral bonus is added to pending cashback only when someone signs up with Khojdeal using your referral link. This will be confirmed as soon as your friend withdraws his/her cashback for the first time.

Miscellaneous

I signed up using Google, can I switch my account to Facebook?

It is possible to switch your account as long as the email address is same for both.

I want to close my account; how do I do this?

We would be very sad if someone leaves us but still if you are very sure about doing it,  you can drop us an email us at support@khojdeal.com and we will deactivate your account from our side.
